Panel of Experts Briefs Security Council’s Central African Republic Sanctions Committee on Workplan for Mandate Pursuant to Resolution 2648 (2022)

On 30 September 2022, the Coordinator and members of the Panel of Experts briefed the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2127 (2013) concerning the Central African Republic on the Panel's workplan in pursuance of resolution 2648 (2022).

During the briefing, the Coordinator highlighted the key priorities of the Panel during its current mandate, noting that the Panel intended to work closely with the authorities of the Central African Republic and regional States to gather and submit information to the Committee in accordance with its mandate.

Members of the Committee thanked the Panel for its briefing and expressed support for the work of the Panel.
