to Discuss Options on Investigation Called for by Security Council
The following statement was issued on 5 June by the Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:
The Secretary-General spoke by telephone today with Prime Minister [Recep Tayyip] Erdoğan of Turkey and Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu of Israel to discuss options for moving forward with the investigation called for by the Security Council presidential statement of 1 June 2010. The Secretary-General will continue to consult concerned parties and Council members.
