SECURITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE CONCERNING AFGHANISTAN ADDS

HUMANITARIAN RELIEF PROVIDERS TO INITIAL LIST


In accordance with paragraphs 12 and 16 (d) of resolution 1333 (2000), on

25 April the Committee approved the following organizations to be added to the initial list adopted by the Committee on 19 January 2001 (AFG/123; SC/6994).  The list will be updated as necessary.

The Preparatory Committee for the International Conference on Financing for Development will begin its third session at United Nations Headquarters from 2 to 8 May. The third session has been split into two one-week sessions; the second one-week session will take place in October or November.
