1267 COMMITTEE APPROVES DELETION OF THREE INDIVIDUALS

AND THREE ENTITIES FROM ITS LIST

On 26 August 2002, the 1267 Committee approved the deletion of the three individuals and the three entities cited below from its consolidated list

(the Al-Qaida section)*.  The Committee’s decision is based on the information provided by two Member States.   

Individuals:

United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan arrived in Luanda on Sunday evening, 25 August, for a two-day official visit to Angola.
