As United Nations disarmament commission opens 2009 substantive session,

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, from New York in the evening of Friday, 10 April, on an official visit that reinforced cooperation between that country and the United Nations.
