STOCKHOLM, 19 May — Full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development would constitute a critical piece of Palestine’s envisaged transition to a peaceful, independent and sustainable State, speakers participating in the opening session of the United Nations Seminar on Assistance to the Palestinian People in Stockholm, Sweden, said today.
The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People will convene the United Nations Seminar on Assistance to the Palestinian People at the 7A Odenplan Conference Centre in Stockholm, Sweden, on 19 and 20 May under the theme “Agenda 2030: Paving the way towards a peaceful, independent and sustainable State of Palestine”.

DAKAR, 3 May — The International Conference on the Question of Jerusalem, which opened in Dakar, Senegal, this morning, held its first plenary session in the afternoon, examining life in East Jerusalem under Israeli occupation.

DAKAR, 3 May — The historic and holy city of Jerusalem remained at the heart of any negotiated solution to the question of Palestine, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon stressed today as the International Conference on the Question of Jerusalem opened in Dakar, Senegal.
The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), will convene an International Conference on the Question of Jerusalem in Dakar, at the King Fahd Palace Hotel on 3 and 4 May, under the theme “Jerusalem at the Heart of the Settlement of the Question of Palestine”.
