Secretary-General Appoints Bruno Lemarquis of France Deputy Special Representative of United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres announced today the appointment of Bruno Lemarquis of France as his Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH).  He will also serve as the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Haiti.

Secretary-General Appoints Simon Springett of United States United Nations Resident Coordinator in Republic of Moldova

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has appointed Simon Springett of the United States as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Moldova, with the host Government’s approval.  Mr. Springett will also serve as United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator.
