The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) is concerned about the displacement of 100,000 people in Syria’s Hama governorate due to fighting. The United Nations and partners, including the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, have sent food, water and supplies for 15,000 people on an inter-agency convoy to Hama.

On 7 September 2016, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1988 (2011) enacted the amendments specified with strikethrough and underline in the entries below to its List (the 1988 List) of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2255 (2015) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
