Secretary-General Kofi Annan travelled to Washington in the afternoon of Wednesday, 9 May.

Secretary-General Kofi Annan and Mrs. Annan travelled to Philadelphia on the morning of Monday, 30 April, where the Secretary-General was the keynote speaker at the 2001 Annual Conference of the Council on Foundations.

Secretary-General Kofi Annan departed New York for Nigeria on Saturday, 21 April.

The Secretary-General arrived in Amsterdam on 4 April.

On his arrival in Nairobi on 1 April, the Secretary-General was met by Professor George Saitoti, the Kenyan Vice-President.

The Secretary-General left Amman, Jordan early in the morning of Wednesday, 28 March, for an official visit to Switzerland, where he was joined by his wife, Nane.

Secretary-General Kofi Annan departed New York on Saturday, 24 March, arriving in Amman, Jordan, on Sunday night, to attend the Summit Meeting of the League of Arab States, which was due to begin on Tuesday, 27 March.

The Secretary-General travelled to Washington, D.C., on Friday afternoon,  23 March, for his first meeting with United States President George W. Bush and senior members of his Administration.
