At its thirty-first meeting, on 22 June 2011, the Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict agreed, in connection with the consideration of the second report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict in the Central African Republic (document S/2011/241), to address the following message to all parties to the conflict in the Central African Republic, through public statements by the Chairman of the Working Group:

On 18 July 2011, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999) and 1989 (2011) approved the addition of the two entries specified below to its Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 1989 (2011) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

On 15 July 2011, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1988 (2011) approved the deletion of the 14 entries specified below from the Committee’s List (the 1988 List). The assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 1988 (2011) therefore no longer apply to the following individuals:

On 8 July 2011, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533 (2004) concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo approved updates to the List of individuals and entities subject to the travel ban and assets freeze imposed by paragraphs 13 and 15 of resolution 1596 (2005), as renewed by paragraph 3 of resolution 1896 (2009) and paragraph 3 of resolution 1952 (2010).
