On 4 May 2012, the Security Council Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee decided to remove the name of the one individual below from the Al-Qaida Sanctions List after concluding its consideration of a de-listing request submitted through the Ombudsperson established pursuant to Security Council resolution 1904 (2009), and after considering the Comprehensive Report of the Ombudsperson on this de-listing request.

On 2 May 2012, the Security Council Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee decided to remove the names of the individuals below from the Al-Qaida Sanctions List after concluding its consideration of two de-listing requests submitted through the Ombudsperson established pursuant to Security Council resolution 1904 (2009), and after considering the Comprehensive Reports of the Ombudsperson on these de-listing requests.

On 16 April 2012, by its presidential statement (S/PRST/2012/13), the Security Council agreed to adjust the measures imposed by paragraph 8 of resolution 1718 (2006), as modified by resolution 1874 (2009). The Security Council further directed the Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006) to undertake these tasks and to report to the Security Council within 15 days.

The Conference of International, Regional and Sub-Regional Industry Associations on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1540 (2004) will be held from 23 to 25 April, in Wiesbaden, Germany. Hosted by the Government of Germany, the conference is co-organized by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA), with financial support from the Governments of Norway, the United States and the European Union.

On 18 April, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1737 (2006) decided to designate two individuals and one entity under sanctions, and will add them to its Consolidated List of Individuals and Entities subject to the travel ban and/or the assets freeze.
