Following is the text of a message by Secretary-General Kofi Annan to the International Colloquium on Peacekeeping and Conflict Prevention, delivered yesterday in Paris on the Secretary-General’s behalf by Jean-Marie Guéhenno, Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations:
Secretary-General Kofi Annan departed Switzerland on Monday afternoon, 29 January, for a two-day visit to Stockholm, Sweden.
Secretary-General Kofi Annan departed Japan on Thursday, 25 January, and travelled to Switzerland, where he would participate in the World Economic Forum meetings in Davos.
