Following is the text of the commencement address delivered yesterday by Secretary-General Kofi Annan at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, Medford, Massachusetts:

It gives me great pleasure to join you for this very special day.

On Wednesday, 16 May, Secretary-General Kofi Annan departed Moscow to Geneva, stopping overnight in Amsterdam.
