Following is the text of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s statement on Pakistan:

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Algiers from Paris with a small delegation early on Tuesday, 18 December.  He was welcomed at the airport by Algeria’s Foreign Minister, Mourad Medelci, and made brief comments to the Algerian State media on the reasons for his visit.

On Tuesday, 11 December, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Madam Ban Soon-taek arrived in Denpasar, Bali, from Bangkok, Thailand, to attend the high-level segment of the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
