ASSEMBLY ELECTS JORDAN TO FILL LAST REMAINING VACANCY ON ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL

19951116 Completes Election of 18 Members to Three-Year Terms on Council

The General Assembly this afternoon completed the election of 18 members to the 54-member Economic and Social Council with the election of Jordan from the Asian Group of States to fill the last remaining vacancy on the Council.
