SECURITY COUNCIL EXTENDS MANDATE OF UN OBSERVER MISSION IN GEORGIA TO 12 JULY
19960112The Security Council this afternoon extended the mandate of the United Nations Observer Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG) for an additional six months, until 12 July. The extension is subject to a review by the Council if changes are made in the mandate of the peace-keeping force of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) currently deployed there.
