WOMEN’S ANTI-DISCRIMINATION COMMITTEE TAKES UP REPORT OF CUBA

The representative of Cuba introduced her country’s fourth periodic report on compliance with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women this morning, highlighting for the monitoring body the many advances for Cuban women, despite the continued economic embargo placed on her country by the United States.
