TENTH RATIFICATION OF WOMEN'S OPTIONAL PROTOCOL BRINGS INSTRUMENT INTO FORCE ON 22 DECEMBER

NEW YORK, 25 September -- With the ratification of Italy on 22 September, the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women has been ratified by 10 countries. It will enter into force on 22 December.
