SPECIAL ENVOY OF SECRETARY-GENERAL FOR MYANMAR TO VISIT YANGON, 19 - 22 MARCH


The following statement on Myanmar was issued today by the Spokesman for Secretary-General Kofi Annan:


Mr. Razali Ismail, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Myanmar, will visit Yangon from 19 to 22 March 2002, to continue his effort to help facilitate the national reconciliation process in Myanmar.
