NAIROBI/GENEVA, 25 April (UNEP) -- The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) welcomes today's decision by the United Nations Commission on Human Rights emphasizing the strong link between human rights and a healthy environment.

Secretary-General Kofi Annan left Vienna late in the afternoon of Wednesday, 23 April, for Geneva.
