The Security Council this evening condemned in the strongest terms the two suicide attacks that occurred in Algiers on 11 April, which caused numerous deaths and injuries.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Lebanon from Saudi Arabia in the evening of Thursday, 29 March.  He made brief remarks to the press on arrival at Beirut airport.

On Tuesday, 27 March, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Saudi Arabia.

On Tuesday, 27 March, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon travelled from Tel Aviv, Israel, to Amman, Jordan, where he met His Majesty King Abdullah II bin al Hussein at the Royal Palace.
