United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Bridgetown, Barbados on Thursday, 2 August, for an official visit to the island nation holding the current chairmanship of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the Caribbean regional organization.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in the afternoon of Wednesday, 1 August, for a 24-hour official visit and was welcomed at the airport by President René Préval and members of the Government.
