Sri Asih Roza Nova of Indonesia has been awarded the twenty-fourth Hamilton Shirley Amerasinghe Fellowship on the Law of the Sea. In case Ms. Rosa Nova is unable to accept the Fellowship, Thang Nguyen Dang of Viet Nam will be awarded the twenty-fourth award.

Radio programming from the United States, China and Canada was honoured on Monday, 20 June, when the United Nations Department of Public Information awards were presented as part of the New York Festivals Radio Program and Promotion Awards at the Manhattan Penthouse in New York.
