On 24 September 2014, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 751 (1992) and 1907 (2009) concerning Somalia and Eritrea approved the addition of the individual specified below to the list of individuals and entities subject to the travel ban, assets freeze and targeted arms embargo imposed by paragraphs 1, 3 and 7 of resolution 1844 (2008) and paragraph 43 of resolution 2093 (2013) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
The flagship United Nations publication "Basic Facts about the United Nations" has been published in Arabic for the first time in nearly 35 years. With this new edition, the United Nations Department of Public Information seeks to provide hundreds of millions of Arabic speakers around the world with the opportunity to learn more about the Organization and its global activities.
