Activities of Secretary-General in Rome, 25 April

The United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, arrived in Rome, late in the afternoon on Friday, 25 April.  On Saturday morning, he attended the funeral of His Holiness Pope Francis, which took place at Saint Peter’s Square.

The Secretary-General left Rome later in the afternoon, returning to New York on 26 April.
