Broadening of Middle East Conflict Must Stop, Demands Secretary-General

The following statement by UN Secretary-General António Guterres was issued today:

I condemn the broadening of the Middle East conflict, with escalation after escalation.

This must stop.  We absolutely need a ceasefire.
