Activities of Secretary-General in Washington, D.C., 23 June

United Nations Secretary‑General António Guterres spent Saturday, 23 June, in Washington, D.C.

He met first with United States Secretary of State Michael Pompeo.

That meeting was followed by a luncheon as part of the Inaugural Portuguese‑American National Conference, organized by the Portuguese‑American Leadership Council of the United States.  The Secretary‑General spoke at that event.

Mr. Guterres returned to New York in the evening.
