United Nations to Scale up Support for Cyclone Mora Response Efforts in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Says Secretary-General

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for UN Secretary-General António Guterres:

The Secretary-General is deeply concerned by the devastating impact caused by Cyclone Mora on Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.  The United Nations stands ready to scale up its support to the Government-led response efforts in both countries.
