HOST COUNTRY COMMITTEE ADOPTS ANNUAL REPORT


The Committee on Relations with the Host Country this afternoon adopted its annual report, reaffirming the Headquarters Agreement and the provisions of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the 1946 Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations.

New York City’s perennial parking problems, United States restrictions on diplomats’ local travel and delays in visa processing were, once again, the focus of discussion at today’s meeting of the Committee on Relations with the Host Country.
