SECRETARY-GENERAL APPOINTS NEW SPECIAL ADVISER FOR STRATEGIC PLANNING
Secretary-General Kofi Annan today announced the appointment of Michael Doyle of the United States as Special Adviser in his Executive Office.
Mr. Doyle will concentrate on policy analysis and strategic planning. He will hold the rank of Assistant Secretary-General and will take up his duties on
2 April 2001.
