Secretary-General Calls for End to Violence in Solomon Islands

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for UN Secretary-General António Guterres:

The Secretary-General has been following the violent protests in Honiara, Solomon Islands, with concern.  He calls for an end to the violence and the protection of hard-won peacebuilding gains.  He urges dialogue and peaceful means to address differences.
