Secretary-General Deeply Saddened by Deadly Road Accident in Zimbabwe

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for UN Secretary-General António Guterres:

The Secretary-General is deeply saddened at the tragic loss of lives following the collision of two buses in Zimbabwe.

He conveys his profound condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.

The Secretary-General stands in solidarity with the Government of Zimbabwe.
