General Assembly Appoints Member of Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions

The General Assembly today appointed a member of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions that helps the 193 delegates from the United Nations Member States manage the Organization’s vast human resources and its finances.

By recommendation of the Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary), as contained in its recent report (document A/71/589/Add.1), the Assembly appointed Mutaz Hyassat of Jordan as a member of the Advisory and Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions for a term of office beginning on 8 March 2017 and ending on 31 December 2018.
