Security Council 2140 Committee Revises Its Guidelines for Conduct of Work

On 29 July 2015, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2140 (2014) adopted revised Guidelines for the Conduct of its Work.  These latest Guidelines reflect Security Council resolution 2216 (2015).

The Committee has revised the Guidelines to facilitate the conduct of its work and provide useful guidance to Member States in their efforts to implement the relevant Security Council resolutions.  The English language version of the revised Guidelines is available on the Committee’s website (www.un.org/sc/committees/2140) and versions of the Guidelines in all six official languages will be made available on the website in due course.
