Secretary-General Deplores Spate of Deadly Terrorist Attacks in Pakistan

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:

The Secretary-General deplores the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan, including today’s bombing of a market in Islamabad and yesterday’s attack on a train in Baluchistan, incidents that led to the killing and wounding of many people.  He extends his deep condolences to the families of the victims and the Government of Pakistan.
