Happy Lunar New Year.  I’m Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

I send my best wishes to all of you and your loved ones as we celebrate the Year of the Horse.

The United Nations is honoured to work closely with the Chinese people across our shared agenda of peace, development and human rights.

I thank you for your commitment and contributions.

And I wish you health, happiness and success in the coming year.
