Security Council Press Statement on Syria

The following Security Council press statement was issued today by Council President María Cristina Perceval (Argentina):

On 30 October, the members of the Security Council received a briefing, in closed consultations, by the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General, Staffan de Mistura, on the situation in Syria.

The members of the Security Council expressed their support for the role and efforts of the Special Envoy.
