General Assembly Allows More Time for Budget Committee to Complete Its Work

The General Assembly, in a late-day meeting, decided, in line with a proposal put forth by the body’s Vice-President, to extend the work of its Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary) until Wednesday, 31 December.

In that connection, it also decided to postpone the date of recess of the sixty-ninth session, also until 31 December.

The representative of the Russian Federation sought clarification on procedural matters.

The Assembly will meet again at a date and time to be announced.
