Secretary-General Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Russian Federation

 

The following statement was issued on 4 May by the Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:

The Secretary-General condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks that occurred in Dagestan, Russian Federation, on 3 May, which have reportedly killed at least 13 people and left more than 100 injured.

He expresses his deep sympathy and condolences to the victims of these heinous acts and their families, and to the people and Government of the Russian Federation.
