Secretary-General Appoints Jacqueline Carol Badcock of United Kingdom Deputy
Special Representative, United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq
The Secretary-General has decided to appoint Jacqueline Carol Badcock, a national of the United Kingdom, as the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Regional Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator, United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI). She is currently serving as the United Nations Development Programme’s Resident Representative and Resident Coordinator in the Philippines. Ms. Badcock brings to this position many years of progressively responsible experience with both the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UNICEF coordinating activities at the country level.
