Social Development Commission Meets to Consider

 

Proposed 2012-2013 Strategic Framework

 

The Commission for Social Development met today to consider its agenda item on programme questions and other matters.  Jean-Pierre Gonnot, Acting Director of the Division for Social Policy and Development, drew the Commission’s attention to the proposed strategic framework for the period 2012-2013 for subprogramme 3, Social policy and development, of programme 7, Economic and Social Affairs (document E/CN.5/2010/CRP.1).

The Commission will meet again at 3 p.m. Friday, 12 February, to conclude its forty-eighth session.  During that meeting, it will hear the introduction of, and take action on, all draft resolutions and agree on the provisional agenda and documentation for its forty-ninth session.
