Secretary-General Condemns Attack in North-West Pakistan

 

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:

The Secretary-General condemns today’s suicide car bomb attack at a village market in north-west Pakistan which reportedly killed more than 30 people and injured dozens.  He reiterates his rejection of such indiscriminate and reprehensible acts of violence and extends his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of Pakistan.
