to Hold High-Level Panel to Assess United Nations ‘Health’, on 29 October
The Inspection and Evaluation Division of the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS-IED) has organized a high-level panel discussion, as part of OIOS’ fifteenth anniversary commemorations. The event, entitled “How do we know if the United Nations is working well or not? Does evaluation provide the answers?”, will take place in Conference Room 8 of the Secretariat Building, United Nations Headquarters, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, 29 October.
Panellists will includeInga-Britt Ahlenius, OIOS Under-Secretary-General; Warren Hoge,Vice-President of the International Peace Institute and former United Nations New York Times correspondent; Collin Keating, Founding Executive Director of the Security Council Report and former New Zealand diplomat; and Saraswathi Menon, Director of the Evaluation Office of United Nations Development Programme and Chair, United Nations Evaluation Group. (Eddie) Yee Woo Guo, acting Director, OIOS-IED will moderate the event.
