CORRECTION
On page 11 of press release GA/SHC/3927 issued 24 October, during the question and answer period with the Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers, the statement by the representative of Fiji was incorrectly reported. The sixth full paragraph of that page should read as follows:
The representative of Fiji informed the Rapporteur and the Committee that the Rapporteur’s request for a country visit was strongly supported by the Permanent Mission of Fiji and that the Mission had strongly recommended to the Government that he pay a visit to Fiji in November. Referring to the assertion that the international bar association had not been allowed to visit Fiji, he asked if there were any more organizations that the country needed to be aware of in order to facilitate the Rapporteur’s mandate.
