SECURITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON AL-QAIDA, TALIBAN SANCTIONS CONSOLIDATES INFORMATION

ON ONE INDIVIDUAL, AMENDS IDENTIFYING INFORMATION ON FOUR OTHERS

 

Based on information received confirming that the two entries, Abdul Baqi (TI.A.38.01.) and Abdul Baqi (TI.A.48.01), in the Taliban section (A) of the Consolidated List refer to the same individual, the Al-Qaida and Taliban Sanctions Committee decided on 7 September 2007 to consolidate the relevant information of the two above-mentioned entries in one entry with the permanent reference number TI.A.38.01.  Consequently, the entry Abdul Baqi (TI.A.48.01) no longer appears on the List.  The Committee also approved amendments to identifying information with regard to the consolidated entry of Abdul Baqi (TI.A.38.01).  All changes have been marked with underline and strikethrough below.
