In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for March:


Security Council


Dumisani S. Kumalo, Permanent Representative of South Africa, succeeds Peter Burian, Permanent Representative of Slovakia, as President of the Security Council.


Military Staff Committee


Brigadier General Dominique Trinquand ( France) succeeds Major General Liu Pei ( China) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
