Biographical Note
New permanent representative of ANDORRA presents credentials

Carles Font-Rossell, the new Permanent Representative of Andorra to the United Nations, presented his credentials today to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
From 2005 until his current appointment, Mr. Font-Rossell was Andorra’s Minister of Youth and Sports. From 2003 to 2005, he was the chairman of the country’s Rugby Federation and, from 1996 to 1999, he served as a member of the Parish Council of Canillo.
Mr. Font-Rossell, who owns several hotels in Andorra, received his Bachelor of Business Administration at the European University of Barcelona, Spain.
Born 26 December 1967 in Canillo, Andorra, Mr. Font-Rossell speaks four languages.
