LIST, CLARIFIES CORRECTIONS MADE TO LIST

 

The Al-Qaida and Taliban Sanctions Committee on 18 January 2006 approved the de-listing of two individuals from its consolidated list (Al-Qaida section).  The individuals are now recorded in section E of the Committee’s list (Individuals and entities that have been removed from the list pursuant to a decision by the 1267 Committee).

On 20 December 2005 the Committee approved the correction of the identifying information on its Consolidated List with regard to:  a) seven individuals on the Taliban section, b) 39 individuals on the Al-Qaida section, and c) two entities on the Al-Qaida section.  The corrections were indicated in the Committee’s Press Release of 9 January 2006 (SC/8605).  Three of the approved corrections were included but were, by error, not marked as such.  For ease of reference the relevant corrections are repeated below.  The corrections have been marked with cross-through and underline.  Corrections that were not included in Press Release SC/8605 are italicized.
