STATES PARTIES TO INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT STATUTE RE-ELECT
SIX MEMBERS OF COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND FINANCE
The Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court this afternoon re-elected six members of the Committee on Budget and Finance.
Given the fact that there were six candidates for the six seats, the Assembly dispensed with the secret ballot to re-elect Mr. Lambert Dah-Kindji (Benin), Mr. David Dutton (Australia), Mr. Fawzi Gharaibeh (Jordan), Mr. Myung-jae Han (Republic of Korea), Ms. Elena Sopkova (Slovakia) and Mr. Santiago Wins-Arnàbal (Uruguay) as members of the Committee for a three-year period, commencing on 21 April 2006.
For further information on the Assembly’s two-day resumed fourth session, see press release L/3101 issued this morning.
The Assembly of States Parties will meet again on Friday, 27 January at 3 p.m. to consider the report of the Credentials Committee and the report on interim premises (ICC-ASP/4/INF.2).
