In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and the Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for June:

Security Council

Jean-Marc de la Sablière, Permanent Representative of France, succeeds Ellen Margrethe Løj, Permanent Representative of Denmark, as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Senior Colonel LiuPei (China) succeeds Lieutenant General Walter L. Sharp (United States) as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
